Advantages of Arc-Shaped Magnets
Electric motors, as an indispensable power source in modern industry, rely on magnets as one of their core components. Traditional electric motors use straight magnets; however, these magnets produce an uneven magnetic field during operation, resulting in lower torque and efficiency. Therefore, modern electric motors have begun to adopt arc-shaped magnets.

Compared to straight magnets, arc-shaped magnets provide a more uniform and stable magnetic field. Inside the electric motor, the magnetic field of the arc-shaped magnet covers a wider area, thus optimizing the motor's performance. Furthermore, arc-shaped magnets allow for smaller motor size and weight, improving the motor's compactness.

Manufacturing of Arc-Shaped Magnets
The manufacturing process of arc-shaped magnets is relatively complex. Typically, arc-shaped magnets are formed by cutting a long, straight magnet into several segments, followed by precise processing and assembly. Straight magnets, on the other hand, can be directly made from ferromagnetic materials.

In addition, arc-shaped magnets require magnetic field excitation and magnetization treatment. This is because the magnetic field of arc-shaped magnets differs from that of straight magnets, requiring processing with specialized magnetization equipment to produce a magnetic field that meets the design requirements of the electric motor.
