Irregularly shaped magnets are so named because their product shapes are unconventional. Product shapes include: arc-shaped magnets, spherical magnets, block magnets, cylindrical magnets, and extra-large ring magnets. The magnet material is relatively brittle, and the manufacturing process is quite complex. They are mainly used in various machines, motors, wind turbines, and other industrial applications. Compared to standard magnets, the most widely used materials for irregularly shaped magnets are neodymium iron boron and ferrite. In particular, irregularly shaped motor magnets are one of the most common types of irregularly shaped magnets.

Advantages of irregularly shaped magnets:

High cost-effectiveness and good mechanical properties. Irregularly shaped magnets have extremely high magnetic energy product and coercivity, and can lift objects weighing up to 640 times their own weight. They have found widespread applications in modern industry and electronic technology. The only drawback is their low Curie temperature and poor temperature characteristics. They are prone to pulverization and radiation. The product needs to be improved by adding and adjusting its chemical composition and surface coating to meet practical application requirements.
